The Kannabis Club is a hip-hop group out of Kansas City and Lawrence, who fuse dynamic styles with fresh new sounds. They won "Best Group" in the Kansas City Music Awards 2017, and have been nominated in The Pitch's Best of KC for "Best Local Band" in 2019, 2020 and 2021. They were also nominated for "Best Local Hip Hop" and "Best Local Band" in the Kansas City Magazine's Best of KC '21. Kannabis Club perform only original material and never over pre-recorded vocals. The group has consistently played numerous venues in the region and live shows consist of 3-4 MCs, a live guitarist, and DJ. The Kannabis Club is a highly marketable group that supports the legalization movement, and many of its members are degree certified audio engineers. They released their debut album High From Space under their own independent MWS records, which is available on all major streaming outlets, and are currently working new material daily.
